Laura read Classical Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London, where a long-held love of photography grew in the hours she spent in the university’s fine-art exhibitions. That classical sensibility still shapes how she sees.
She grew up with horses, dogs and animals of her own, and has a real gift for catching the quiet bond between animals and the people who love them. She believes a companion deserves to be kept in a photograph forever.
These days Laura photographs full time: weddings, family gatherings, portraits and the moments in between, always in low, soft light and never in a hurry.
